Cricketer Alec Stewart at Ditchling
Ditchling Cricket Club stage the bi-annual Bull Invitation Trophy on Sunday, 1.30pm start, which began from a wager struck in the Bull Pub, Ditchling, in 2004.
The inaugural fixture saw former England captain Alex Stewart and Jamie Theakston raise a squad that included 11 England players and three county players, but Ditchling still cruised home with a six off the last ball.
Still licking their wounds, Stewart and Theakston have cast the net wider this year and the team has several notable additions from the international worlds of cricket, football and rugby.
