Dream Arundel debut for Manish

MANISH TOMAR'S phone-call to Arundel captain Will Clark could be the kick-start Arundel needed to boost their chances of avoiding relegation.

Tomar, who works in Midhurst at a hotel which sponsors the cricket club, called Clark after hearing about the club. His batting helped Arundel to their third win of the season on Saturday after Australian Corey Hand's first five-wicket haul for the club.

Clark said: "Manish has gone a few years without playing cricket and hadn't played for more than a year up to Saturday.

"He came up to the ground and we decided to ask him to come to play a game because we felt we had nothing to lose with the position we are in."
