Two of them, Fabienne Andre and Seb Ward, were also classified at the event which means that they can now compete at national level and also in Open Meets.

This was Seb’s first time at this level of competition and he came away feeling inspired.

As in the February competition, Fabienne achieved personal bests in all five of her events, while Seb and another newcomer, Christopher Lovejoy, who was classified at an event earlier in the year, also set pbs in all their events.

Despite still awaiting classification, Georgina Williams swam extremely well and reduced many of her previous best times by several seconds, as did regular competitor Richard Sambrook.

All swimmers are now looking forward to the Mid Sussex Marlins disability gala this Saturday.
