Bexhill drew 2-2 at home to AFC Uckfield, while Westfield lost 1-0 away to Wick & Barnham United in Sussex County Football League Division Two.

A great strike from Jamie Salvidge put Bexhill ahead on 32 minutes, but Scott Taylor levelled for Uckfield from close range in the first minute of the second half and Aaron Capon swung the game in the visitors’ favour on 60 minutes.

Jacob Shelton showed superb skill, though, to earn Bexhill a point 12 minutes later. It was Bexhill’s third draw in their last four games, but they are now winless in seven.

Although Westfield have won their last two midweek matches, they have now lost their last four at weekends following their narrow reverse at Wick. Ash Harper scored the only goal in the first half.

The area’s other Division Two team, Little Common, was without a fixture.
