Ex-Albion side beat ex-Hillians team in charity match

Just under 200 supporters watched an ex-Brighton & Hove Albion narrowly beat an ex-Burgess Hill Town side as both sides played to raise money for local charity St. Peters and St James Hospice.

The hospice will receive a total of £825 from the Hillians from Sunday’s game as the Club donated the gate receipts, raffle sales plus the match sponsorship, by Bennett Christmas, as well as the signed framed Kerry Mayo shirt which was donated and sold to Haywards Heath based Brewers for £200 to add to the total.
