Rustington end losing run

RUSTINGTON Football Club’s winless run extended to five games on Saturday but they did bring their three-game losing run to an end with a 0-0 draw at home to Storrington.

Blues manager Brett Torode said: “It was an even game, and I’d say a draw was a fair result. We’re lacking in confidence, but at least we’ve ended the losing run and it turned into a war of attrition in the second half.

“We need a win to get a bit of momentum. We didn’t play as well as we can but I was pleased with our effort and if we keep battling away we’ll be okay.”
