Walters expects 4,000 sellout

Hastings United are expecting their all-ticket FA Cup second round replay at home to Harrogate Town on Thursday to be a sellout.

The capacity has been set at 4,000 and more than 1,500 tickets were sold within a day of them going on general sale.

United chairman Dave Walters said: “We knew it was going to be very busy and a big crowd, but it’s taken us aback. To sell 1,500 plus tickets on the first day of going on general sale is incredible. It really looks like it will be a sellout and probably before the night.”

The club will be opening the car park at The Firs for a fee of £5 which will include a matchday programme. In line with FA rules, no alcohol will be served during the game.
