Sixty ladies played on a course that was in excellent condition and in weather which was more like mid-Summer than Autumn. At the renowned “Half Way Hut” our Lady Captain had set up a gazebo where “Pimms”, cake and a variety of savoury snacks were on offer, served by Donald Parvin (husband of the Lady Captain) and some of the other lady members who were not playing on that day.

Following the golf, the ladies were treated to a delightful buffet lunch following which prizes were presented by the Lady Captain, Rosemary Parvin, assisted by the Competition Secretary, Jenny Steele.
