Hank's the second American

JONATHAN WOODS will be replaced in Worthing Thunder's league championship-winning team by a 6ft 8in American power forward from New Jersey.

Henry (Hank) Rivers will fill the second overseas spot alongside guard Alfredo Ott from New Orleans, following the 6ft 7in Woods' decision not to return to Worthing for a second year.

Woods was within an ace of the League Most Valuable Player award last season with 17 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per game. The honour went to Worcester Wolf, Ty Shaw.

Rivers was two years at a college in the prestigious NCAA Division 1 in his senior and junior years. It was Stephen F.Austin University.
