Impressive Pearl earns tilt at Sussex National
A FORMER event horse is likely to head for the Sussex National at Plumpton on Sunday January 3, following a spectacular win at the recent Fontwell Park meeting, after being off the racecourse for almost three years.
Shaka's Pearl, who looked outstanding in the paddock, is trained by Nick Gifford at Down's Stables, Findon, and had been sidelined following a leg problem.
