It's a flying finish for captains
THE retiring captains of Ham Manor Golf Club '“ Paul Battams and Julie Green '“ presented chosen charity Sussex Air Ambulance with a cheque for £9,500.
The money was raised by members throughout the captains' year.
Whereas many charities and emergency services qualify for statutory funding, the Air Ambulance Service depends almost entirely on support from the public to keep it flying and enable it to provide this life-saving service to everyone across Sussex.
