It’s a record season asHandcross move intoDivision 3 at first attempt

Handcross have ended their first year of playing in the Southern Counties Petanque League by winning the Division 4 title in record fashion.

Since 2001 no team has previously gone through the season without losing a match and they are the first team to win by a 20-point margin.

The successful squad comprised Justin Ellis, Anthony Kidd (captain), Liam Kidd, Peter Kidd, David Leech, Jane Sibbring, Nigel Sibbring, Mike Stanton and Brenda Steptoe.
