MSHC has set up a 4-week programme to encourage and inspire women in the area to pick up their old hockey sticks, return to the pitch and re-ignite their competitive spirit!

It is open to women of all ages who may have played in the past, although this isn’t essential, and are looking for a way to get fit, make new friends and become part of a friendly club.

Join us for an hour, 7.30pm-8.30pm, on Thursdays, starting 6th November 2014, at The Triangle, Burgess Hill. Sticks will be provided. You are invited to stay for a drink afterwards with club members.

Julia, member of MSHC, said: “Going back to playing hockey after many years was made so easy by Mid Sussex, who made me feel so welcome and straight away part of their friendly team. It’s a joy to be part of great family club.”

Established in 1946, MSHC is a successful, family friendly club based in Haywards Heath, with pitches in Ardingly, and Burgess Hill, Hurstpierpoint. It provides hockey for all ages and abilities with three ladies sides, four men’s teams and an active junior side. We are always happy to welcome new faces.
