New Year 's Day fixtures too much for players

SIDLEY United joint manager Glen Sully believes his team shouldn t have to play on New Year s Day.

Sully feels it is too much to expect of county league players. "Boxing Day football is a tradition but football on New Year s Day is ridiculous," he said.

"It s unfair to expect players at this level to play on New Year s Day and the County FA need to review the situation."
