PETER RIDES TO TREBLE GLORY

PETER Walters from Midhurst has been victorious in his bid for a hat trick , competing in the England team at the Mounted Games Association World Championships in Belgium.

Sixteen teams from all over the world, including Canada, the USA. South Africa and Australia, competed over three days.

The England team had a commanding lead after the four qualifying heats on Friday and Saturday, winning all four of them.

In the final on the Sunday, they dominated from the start and wee clear winners before the last few events took place.

This was the fourth year in a row that England has won the world championship and the third that Peter has been a member of this successful team.
