Sidley gunning for goals

SIDLEY United travel to Southwick on Saturday (December 1) looking to repeat their 7-0 romp against the struggling side two months ago.

With Sussex Division One pace setters Burgess Hill scoring for fun, Sidley need to take advantage of soft defences like the Brighton-based side.

United still have a sizeable injury list with Dave Ward, Adam Day, Paul Sully and Wayne Farrier all out of action, while Dave Carey is suspended.

New Bexhill Town manager Gary Light has added his son Nicholas to his recent signings as he continues to try and turn around the fortunes of the Third Division club.

Light has seen his side give excellent performances against two of the best teams in the division - including a draw with leaders Pease Pottage.

"I m very pleased with the way we re playing," said Light. "The application, football and enthusiasm is good and now we have just got to be consistent." Town travel to Horsham to play Forest. Both games kick-off at 2pm.
