Thunder aim to move into top bracket
WORTHING THUNDER intend to announce before the new season in September that they will be playing at the highest level of basketball in this country the season that follows.
Thunder director Alan Dawes said: "Talks have been going on for many weeks with a view to Thunder and other top English Basketball League teams moving to the British Basketball League for the 2007-08 season.
"This is with a view to strengthening the top division of British basketball and harmonising league structure. It is the objective of both parties to conclude these negotiations at an early date."
