Due to the run of sell-out screenings of Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War we are bringing it back for two showings. His life was as compelling and enigmatic as his art and this film brings to life this unique and still grossly undervalued British artist caught in the crossfire of war 80 years ago.

Fisherman’s Friends: One and All follows the shanty singers in their newfound fame. However, the death of a founder member, record company issues and turmoil in their private lives means that life is not plain sailing. We welcome the Selsey Shantymen on September 4 for a pre-show concert.

Where the Crawdads Sing based on the best-selling novel is an engrossing mystery thriller set in the steamy marshlands of North Carolina. Kya lives alone in the wild but gradually becomes involved with two men from the town. When one is murdered she becomes the main suspect.

If you’re after some kinetic entertainment then Brad Pitt in Bullet Train may just tick all the boxes. Pitt plays an assassin whose latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries.

In Notre Dame on Fire veteran director Jean-Jacques Annaud rips a swashbuckling escapade from news footage of the catastrophic fire at the Paris cathedral. The director weaves actual footage of the fire into his drama, using split-screen techniques to create a documentary feel. Richard Warburton
