Brighton transfer news: Club ‘determined to ask for more’ as Brighton target £3m teen star, Aston Villa ‘swoop’ for West Ham defender

The latest round of English top flight football fixtures concludes today and the focus of clubs will turn entirely to the final few days of the summer transfer window.

It’s been a busy summer for Brighton & Hove Albion so far and the Seagulls could still have more business to do following yesterday’s 1-0 win over Leeds United at the AMEX Stadium.

Pascal Gross scored the only goal of the games in the 66th minute to hand Jesse Marsch’s side their first defeat of the season with Brighton moving above them in the table on ten points while Leeds remain on seven.
