Rother's motorists will have 19 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A259, from 10.30am August 10 to 5pm August 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A259 eastbound and westbound, Guldeford Road, temporary traffic lights for BT works.

A259, from 7pm August 10 to 6am August 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A259 Skinners roundabout Rye, three-way temporary traffic signals for kerb works.

A259, from 8pm August 7 to 6am August 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A259 eastbound and westbound, Pevensey, temporary traffic lights for Lightning Fibre works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
