‘Emergency closure’ of Winchelsea school caused by lack of heating
A primary school in Winchelsea has been closed today (Monday, December 16).
East Sussex County Council said St Thomas’ Church of England Primary School, in Friars Road, Winchelsea, was shut as an emergency due to a lack of heating.
There was no confirmation of when the school would reopen.
The council said it would update parents as soon as possible and apologised for the inconvenience.
