Mid Sussex MP joins Twitter - @nsoamesmp

Using the so-called twitter handle @nsoamesmp, constituents and other interested parties can now follow Mr Soames.

Speaking to the Mid Sussex Times he said: “It is a very important avenue of communication and I am keen to do what I can and it is a further opportunity for people to stay in touch with me if they want to.

“I don’t really tweet about myself at all, it is observations mainly connected with overseas matters and defence, but also on particular constituency stuff.”

“It is not a very exciting site I am afraid,” he added.
