Last time was a pretty resounding victory for the Conservatives, who took all the seats UKIP had won back in 2013. For the most part other opposition parties held their ground, although the Lib Dems picked up Rustington and Hassocks & Burgess Hill South. Elsewhere Labour came very close to taking a seat outside of Crawley over in Worthing East, finishing just 28 votes behind.
