Road blocked as emergency services are called to Eastbourne town centre

A road in Eastbourne town centre was blocked as emergency service crews were called to help with an incident.

Firefighters and the ambulance service were seen in Terminus Road by Grand Parade at around midday yesterday (Sunday, March 19).

Three fire service vehicles and an ambulance were photographed at the incident as an aerial ladder platform was used to reach a window.

A resident said the road is now clear.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service explained that it was called to assist the ambulance service.

South East Coast Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
