Jurgen Klopp’s side their second successive 3-1 victory after beating in-form West Ham United. Mohamed Salah netted a brace, while Georginio Wijnaldum also got on the scoresheet.
Then 24 hours later, Klopp was busy in the transfer market, acquiring defensive duo Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak from Preston and Schalke, respectively before loaning out Sepp van den Berg and Takumi Minamino.
Now, the Reds’ attentions revert back to league action, with the Seagulls the visitors to Anfield.
