Littlehampton RFC go second after away win
In a slow and sluggish first half, Littlehampton’s defence had to hold firm early on as Holbrook pushed forward.
Littlehampton soon got down the other end and won a penalty but Dean Torode kicked it wide.

Hide AdIt did not take long for Torode to get on the scoresheet, though, as he touched down after a Littlehampton drive forward and then converted.
With the game flowing from one end to the other, Littlehampton had to defend well before they went into half-time with a 14-0 lead after Scott Elliot went over and Torode converted.
Littlehampton captain Richard Russell made an excellent tackle at the beginning of the second half as Holbrook started on the front foot.
But Littlehampton soon got the better of a Holbrook scrum and Craig Boddington touched down.

Hide AdThey got their next score when Mark Lovegrove charged down a Holbrook kick and Bryan Newman went over, with Torode adding the extras.
Littlehampton continued to fight hard and won a Holbrook line-out for Boddington to get his second try of the game.
The game finished with Littlehampton defending their line but they kept Holbrook out to register their third win from their four league games this season.
Littlehampton sit three points behind leaders Pulborough 2nd, who have won all four of their games this season.
