New councillor elected in Balcombe

Carol Anne Dutton has been elected to Balcombe Parish Council, after a by-election held on Thursday May 5.

The by-election was called following the resignation of councillor Katherine Miners.

Voter turnout was 44 per cent.

Carol Anne Dutton won with 414 votes, while rival candidate Per James Bertelsen received 232 votes.
