STAPLEFIELD BONFIRE, FIREWORKS AND TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION: Wednesday 2nd November. Meet from 6 pm onwards at Village Car Park / Victory. Torchlight procession , bonfire and fireworks from 7pm. Hot dogs, burgers and hot drinks available. Tickets - £5 for adults with accompanying children for free. Please come along and support this fun family and village event. Look forward to seeing everyone and fingers crossed for the weather

VILLAGE LUNCH: Thursday 3rd November 12:30 for 1:00 pm.

ST MARK’S CHURCH, CHRISTMAS FAIR: Saturday 26th November 2-4pm, Village Hall. Grand Draw (Christmas Hamper, Wine & other prizes), Cakes, Gifts, Books, Bric-A-Brac, Bottle Stall, Tombola, Teas and Children’s activities.

STAPLEFIELD HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: AGM will be held at the Village Hall on Thursday 24th November at 7:30 pm. The present committee members would welcome residents of Staplefield, Slaugham, Warninglid, Handcross and Pease Pottage to attend to take part in discussion on proposals for the future activities of the society.
